General information
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and treat it confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO / GDPR) and this privacy policy.
This website is deliberately built to minimise data: it sets no cookies, embeds no advertising networks, carries out no analytics or audience measurement, and loads no content from third-party servers. Personal data therefore arises only when the page is technically retrieved and when you write to us yourself via the contact form.
Server log files
When this website is accessed, information that your browser transmits is automatically stored in server log files: the page accessed, the date and time of access, the volume of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the operating system used, the referrer URL and the IP address.
The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and the security of this website. This data is not merged with other data sources, and we do not evaluate the log files for marketing purposes.
This website runs on neXchance IT GmbH’s own server in Germany; an external hosting service provider is therefore not involved. The log files are deleted after 7 days.
Content delivery network and DNS (Cloudflare)
For the delivery of this website and for the name resolution of the domain we use Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Every access to this website is routed via Cloudflare’s servers. In doing so, Cloudflare processes your IP address as well as technical details of your request and decrypts the data traffic in order to forward it to our server.
The purpose is the secure, fast and reliable delivery of the website as well as the defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO; our legitimate interest lies in protected and undisrupted operation. Cloudflare acts for us as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO.
Cloudflare is a US company, so processing of your data may also take place outside the European Union. The transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Further information can be found in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Contact form and contact by email
If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide: name, email address, subject and message, as well as your telephone number if you provide it voluntarily.
We use this data exclusively to process your enquiry and for follow-up questions relating to it. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO where your enquiry serves the initiation or performance of a contract, otherwise Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Your message is not stored in a database of this website but forwarded to us directly as an email. It is sent via our own mail server; an external email service provider is not involved. We retain your enquiry for as long as is necessary to process it; afterwards we delete it, unless statutory retention periods prevent this.
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking
This website sets no cookies — neither its own nor those of third parties. No web analytics take place, no tracking pixels, social media plug-ins or advertising networks are embedded, and no profiles of your usage behaviour are created. For this reason there is also no cookie banner on this website: there is nothing to consent to.
If you switch between the light and dark display, this setting is stored exclusively locally in your browser (local storage). It is not transmitted to us and contains no personal data. The legal basis is § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG, since the storage is necessary for the display you have expressly requested.
Fonts
The fonts used on this website are delivered from our own server. There is no connection to third-party servers, in particular not to Google Fonts, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties in the process.
Links to external offerings
This website links to our online shop as well as to Google Maps in order to show you the way to our location. Google Maps is not embedded in this website — it is an ordinary link. Data is transmitted to Google only once you actively click on this link; from that point onwards the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
SSL and TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://”. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Recipients and transfers to third countries
Your data is passed on to third parties only insofar as this is necessary to provide the service, or insofar as we are legally obliged to do so. We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for advertising purposes.
The only regular recipient is the processor Cloudflare named above; this may involve a transfer to the USA, safeguarded by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Apart from that, we operate the website and the sending of email on our own servers in Germany.
Your rights
You have the following rights in relation to us at any time with regard to the personal data concerning you. An informal message to the address or email address given above is sufficient to exercise them.
- Access to the data we process (Art. 15 DSGVO)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 DSGVO)
- Erasure of your data (Art. 17 DSGVO)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 DSGVO)
- Data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO)
- Objection to the processing (Art. 21 DSGVO)
- Withdrawal of a consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 Abs. 3 DSGVO)
- Complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 DSGVO)
Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other legal remedies, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your place of residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg).
Changes to this privacy policy
We adapt this privacy policy as soon as changes to the data processing we carry out make this necessary. The version published on this page applies in each case.
